flight from France to Georgetown costs 686/990 €. Airport : Cheddi Jagan International-Timehri
is 25 miles from the centre of Georgetown. There are
no direct flights but flights can be found via the U.S.,
Curaçao, Trinidad or Barbados. The best solution
is often via Cayenne (another 308€ return to Georgetown).
Tourism in Guyana is mostly for those interested
in natural history or adventure holidays. There are also
some beautiful old colonial houses in Georgetown which are
worth a visit. As for the forest; don't forget your hammock
and mosquito net!
