Suriname (Dutch Guyana).
The highest point is Mount Roraima,
(9190 feet) in the Pacaraima range. In this range there is also
the highest table-top mountain or Tepui.
A number of rivers cut across the country, namely the Essequibo

The
climate, which is hot and humid, with an average annual temperature
of 27° C (80°F) and 100% humidity explains why 76% of
the country's surface is covered with equatorial forest.
In the south, however, there
are savannah lands.

The
Barima River is situated in the north of the country. The low
lying land means water comes in high upstream with the tide.
